Aloe Vera Powder for Hair & Skin

For face masks

1. Add 1–2 teaspoons of Aloe Vera Powder to a clean, non-metal bowl.
   
2. Gradually add cool or lukewarm water (or a gentle hydrosol), stirring until you have a smooth, lump-free paste.
   
3. Apply a thin, even layer to clean skin, avoiding the eye and lip area.
   
4. Leave on for around 5–10 minutes. If the mask starts to feel tight or uncomfortable, rinse off earlier.
   
5. Rinse with lukewarm water, gently pat dry and follow with your usual moisturiser.
   

Use 1–2 times per week, depending on how your skin responds.

For hair & scalp masks

1. Place 2–4 tablespoons of Aloe Vera Powder into a bowl, adjusting for hair length.
   
2. Add water to create a smooth, yoghurt-like paste. You can blend in other herbs such as Amla powder or Shikakai if they are already part of your routine.
   
3. Apply to slightly damp hair and scalp, focusing on mid-lengths, ends and areas that feel dry.
   
4. Cover with a shower cap and leave for about 15–30 minutes, keeping the paste from drying out completely.
   
5. Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water, then shampoo and condition as usual.
   

Use about once a week or as often as suits your hair care routine.

For body use

1. Mix a small amount of Aloe Vera Powder with water to form a smooth paste.
   
2. Apply to the desired area and leave for 5–10 minutes.
   
3. Rinse off and follow with your regular body moisturiser or oil.

• Before first use, carry out a patch test: mix a small amount of paste and apply to a discreet area of skin (for example, the inner forearm). Leave on for 10–15 minutes, rinse, and wait 24–48 hours. If your skin feels comfortable, you can then use it more widely.
  
• Avoid contact with eyes, mouth and sensitive areas. If contact occurs, rinse well with plenty of clean water.
  
• Do not apply to broken or highly irritated skin.
  
• Reseal the pouch carefully after each use. Store in a cool, dry place, away from humidity, steam and direct sunlight. Always use a clean, dry spoon when taking powder from the bag.
  
• Keep out of reach of children and pets.
