Henna Hair Dye Powder for Hair Colour

For full-head henna hair dye

1. Wash your hair with a normal shampoo and rinse thoroughly, avoiding heavy conditioners or oils immediately before colouring.
   
2. Towel dry until the hair is damp but not dripping.
   
3. Add 3–6 tablespoons of Spierb Henna Powder to a clean, non-metal bowl, adjusting for hair length and thickness.
   
4. Slowly pour in warm (not boiling) water while stirring until you have a smooth, yoghurt-like henna paste with no dry pockets.
   
5. Cover the bowl and allow the paste to rest for around 20–30 minutes to encourage colour release, especially if you are focusing on henna hair dye for grey hair.
   
6. Put on gloves and divide your hair into small sections; apply the paste from roots to ends until each section is evenly coated.
   
7. Gather the hair and cover it with a shower cap or wrap to keep the henna moist and in place.
   
8. Leave on for 1–3 hours, checking a hidden strand after the first hour to see how the shade is developing on your hair.
   
9. Rinse thoroughly with plenty of lukewarm water until the paste is fully removed; finish with conditioner if desired and style as usual.
   

Henna colour normally oxidises and deepens slightly over the following 24–48 hours, so wait until then before judging the final shade.

For use with Indigo Powder (darker routines)

1. Complete your henna step as described above and rinse fully, then gently towel dry the hair.
   
2. Prepare a fresh paste of Spierb Indigo Powder for hair according to its directions.
   
3. Apply the indigo paste as a second step if you are aiming for darker brown or deeper tones, cover and leave for the recommended time.
   
4. Rinse and condition as usual, then allow 24–48 hours for the combined henna–indigo colour to settle on the hair.

• Keep the paste moist during the application time; do not allow it to dry solid on the hair or scalp.
• Reseal the pouch carefully after each use and store in a cool, dry place away from steam, humidity and direct sunlight.
• Always use a clean, dry spoon when removing powder and keep out of reach of children and pets.
